I am 75 years old. A few days ago while walking I had sudden some peculiar tearing sound in the middle of the lower part of left leg, middle of the calf. I couldn't stand on my left leg. I had to immediately sit. Gradually, I could rest my leg on the toe and somehow returned home. After applying some ointment and warm water bag I could slowly walk. Now I am having slight swelling in the calf at that particular point.
