I have a deeper cavity in between 2 teeth its not paining unless very hard substance is for chewing. Then also its not paining but little uncomfortable. Which filling is best and long lasting. I heard that filling further tends to root canal. Is it true?

Dear lybrate-user, deep cavities may or may not need a root canal treatment. Root canal treatment is basically cleaning of teeth, its nerves and following it by a cap. Pain is one of the signs that the tooth might need root canal treatment. A composite filling, silver filling are good enough. Sometimes fillings are deep and that may cause pain. But you need to see a dentist at your earliest to avoid further consequences and save the teeth. Thank you.
