A low carb & high fibre diet really works for diabetic patient. Diet plays a major role (70-80%) to control your sugar level. Also meal time is also important for diabetic patient. Uncontrolled diabetes may lead to heart failure, kidney disease. Use low gi food in your diet like- whole grain, multigrain flour, salad, fruits with skin, sprouts, oats, daliya etc. Avoid highgi foods- rice, refind flour, bread, poha, mango, grapes, banana etc. Follow 6 small meal patterns instead of 3 major meal.

Drink enough water to maintain hydration. In order to revive health only eating right is not enough, you should exercise daily if possible. Keeping stress away is equally important. Taking your medicines on time and checking your blood sugar levels regularly is the right approach.
