Dear lybrate-user vaginal dryness is one of the most common symptoms of menopause and the itching can be because of that most probably. Mucous membrane of vagina produce a fluid or natural lubricant that keeps the vagina moist, elastic and strong. Oestrogens in the body encourage the vaginal tissue to produce this lubricant this helps to protect the vagina from bacterial and fungal infection. And oestrogens level fall during menopause so the opposite of above written is produced. What you need to do is apply oestrogens application, vaginal moisturizer for regular rehydration. Thank you.
