Gallstones are hardened deposits of digestive fluid that can form in your gallbladder. Your gallbladder is a small, pear-shaped organ on the right side of your abdomen, just beneath your liver. The gallbladder holds a digestive fluid called bile that's released into your small intestine. Gallstones range in size from as small as a grain of sand to as large as a golf ball. Some people develop just one gallstone, while others develop many gallstones at the same time. All cases of gallstones are not required to be operated upon. Homeopathy has specific medicines for the treatment of pathological gall bladder. They should first be treated with homeopathic medicines. Those cases that do not respond to the oral homeopathic treatment or get complications are to be treated surgically. Patients sometimes fear that the presence of stones in the gall bladder for a long time may cause cancer. This idea is totally a misconception. Some of Homoeopathic medicines used for gallstone treatment are Lycopodium, chelidonium, Carduus marianus, Pulsatilla, calcarea carb, chelidonium, etc Medicine should be selected on the basis of symptom similarity only to get the complete cure.
