I am suffering from tonsillitis as well as uvulitis After taking 3 azithromycin 500mg for 3 successive days my tonsillitis got cured But uvulitis is yet there. My uvula is swollen enlarged and I have pain in swallowing. Currently I am taking combiflam. But uvulitis is still there. What to do?

Hello, I would suggest you to take homoeopathic treatment for the complaints. Take belladonna 200 + hepar sulph 200 ch, twice daily. Single dose of baryta carb 200 ch, 5 drops. Revert after 5 days. Thanks.

Hello lybrate-user uvulitis will improve slowly if it's a viral attack. Tonsillitis improved as the bacterial infection responded to azithromycin. You can continue with combiflam. Along with that do warm water gargling. Do consult for other medications. Take care.
