I have pulp polyp. Went to a dentist. She said that its in my molar (deciduous tooth) she said that its my milk tooth and the permanent tooth did not came even when I am 19 now. So that's why I have problem of pulp polyp in my tooth. She said that I will have to pull out that teeth and to fill tha gap I should get braces. Is the reason by this doctor justified?

Retained molar milk teeth r saved in circumstances wer the tooth is healthy n not interfering with your chewing or your permanent tooth. In such cases rct n capping is done. If the milk teeth is decided to b removed by dentist after your dental evaluating, it can b replaced by implant or bridge. If you r hving crowding/ bite prob or other prob which requires braces treatment, space gained from removal of this tooth can b utilised for teeth movement. Taking braces treatment for closing of gap due to milk teeth removal alone can't b justified. You hv option of implant/ bridge instead.
