I am 38 years old. I had unprotected sex from 12-14 august. He did not come inside me though. I had stopped bleeding on 1 august. On 14th august, I took unwanted 72 ie emergency contraceptive pill. I did not get my periods in september. I did pregnancy test twice and it came negative, after waiting for 41 days since last periods I consulted an online doctor, she prescribed promulat but chemist gave norethisterone acetate saying its same. I had taken it 5 mg tablet twice a day for 5 days. I finished last dose on tuesday morning. I am still not bleeding. How long should I wait for periods. I do not think there are even fairest chances of pregnancy but I am not doctor. What should I do?

You need to wait upto 14 days of stopping the tablet. If still periods don't come, get an ultrasound done.

When pregnancy test is negative then the chance of pregnancy does not arise. Wait for 5 days and if periods does not begin then you can contact me. Ideally you should have taken 15 mg daily for 5 days. Anyway wait and then get back to me if you like.
