I am a 8 months pregnant woman. My husband?s family has a history of polydactyly and I know this is genetic. But is it so common that my baby also will born with six fingers?

Polydactyly is one of the most common conditions where 1 out of every 500 to 1000 babies born have extra finger usually on one hand. It has genetic reasons ofcourse but it is not necessary that your baby will born with polydactyly. However, probability increases if you have a family history of polydactyly.
