Dr. I am suffering from conjunctivitis from last one day there is little pain in my head and some itching in my right side eye please recommend medicine to get out of this problem soon.

Hello lybrate-user. Conjunctivitis may occur due to various causes. Let me enumerate them in brief: (1) allergy (2) bacterial infection (3) viral infection (4) fungal infection (5) systemic conditions based on the cause for your conjunctivitis, it would be a better idea to prescribe you treatment. Still, as a broad spectrum, use the following: (a) tobramycin eye drops 4 times in a day. (b) lubricant eye drops every 2 hours. (c) keep washing your eyes thoroughly. Maintain eye hygiene.
