I was suffering from severe toothache in the area of my wisdom tooth. Even zerodol p was not working. Went to doctor they said the condition of my teeth is very bad, I may have to be hospitalized if the condition persists. At first they told that I should do tooth extraction and implant. Then another doctor came and said that it won't be easy but there is a chance for root canal treatment. What should I do rct or extraction and implant? I have heard that rct is not that effective and the pain may come again after some months. Being a person from middle class family I don't afford these treatments so I am a bit skeptical. Please suggest me what should I do.

If it is wisdom tooth then get it removed. Replacement for wisdom tooth is not required

Generally there is no pain if root canal is done properly. Can suggest you the best possible treatment after seeing the xray whether rct is good or extraction or extraction followed by implant.. Without xray it's no possible to suggest.
