Hi doctors my name is vijay and I have an oily skin and as I play tennis and because of the over sweat I get an oily skin. THere are any natural remedies other than just washing my face often and I have to prevent it permanently cause I look horrible if my face looks in a oily way.

Hi lybrate-user, excess oil is due to sebum secretion from the sebaceous glands in the skin, it can be due to genetics, dietary changes, or hormonal changes during puberty as in your case. Hydrate yourself. Drink atleast 4-5 litres of water per day. Try to maintain skin hygeine, else you can face problems of acne in the future. As for natural remedy you an try following: apply tomato juice on your face, keep it for 15 minutes then rinse with water, tomato is rich in vit-c & has astringent properties. You can also apply cucumber juice overnight. If still the problem persist, visit a doctor in person & get your skin analysed, doctor will be able to prescribe you medication as per your skin condition.

But do not worry this is natural process and with ayurveda we can control this problem. Do as mentioned below: 1. Drink at least 3 to 4 liters of water daily. 2. Avoid oily and spicy food. 3.
