At the age of 13-14 when permanent canines will erupt then you should go for orthodontic treatment because at the age of 9-10 anterior teeth are flared which is called broadbent phenomenon that is a self correcting condition. After the age of 13 will be the best time to decide about the requirement of orthodontic treatment.
Generally we advise to start the orthodontic treatment when the canine teeth erupts. But if there is a serious problem related to bones you can go at this age and consult an orthodontist.
