Mr. Lybrate-user, after geting chickenpox, its better to avoid taking non. Veg for 1-2 months for safe side, as its aviral attack& the level of immunity still need to be recovered. Its suggestableto take bland diet, without spices, less oily, more consumption of dal related items, millets, sprouts more water minimum 3-4 litres/day, with more consumption of diary products like, milk, curd, butter milk, will help better way to recover fast. Evn she need to avoid taking junk/fast/black beverages, with carbonated gases, etc is too good. ****one more suggestion I would like to give after reading your daughter's medical h/o. As she is taking too many medicines for her complaints sake,& even steroids are also there, its better to advise her to practice yoga,/meditation& exercises. Like any sports related or yoga, walking will help her in general to get free from the adverse effects caused my those usage& to improve her fitness[under instrutions by expert]& also, let her take less quantity of salt, oil, spices is good in that way also. At resent, give her more fruits, juices, coconut water, sprouts, proteien related dal, wheat, millets etc. She can take after 1 month these non. Veg if she desires much. But do not bring from kfc etc kind of outlets. Its always good to take home made only. Take care.
