I am 18 years old and I was operated for multiple stones in gal bladder. Now I don't have gall bladder. After this operation I am suffering with severe pain in my upper abdomen and chest too. This pain is not bearable at all. Please tell me what should I do.

Hello lybrate user, the pain that you are having in the upper part of the abdomen and the chest area-could be due to acute gastritis which basically means that you have got hyperacidity. If the symptoms are also associated with constipation, then the probability of acute gastritis even becomes stronger. You don't need any tests but you can make a few lifestyle changes. You should not take spicy or oily foods which is kind of important because you don't have a gallbladder. You should try to take fruits at least once in a day. And most importantly you should not lie down immediately after taking food. There is also help available in the form of medicines. Simpy try anti acidity medicines if nothing works.
