1. Pleural effusion is due to accumulation of fluid in the pleural sac (covering of lung) 2. It is mostly due to tuberculosis. 3. Get your blood examined for esr, cbc, sputum for afb (3 samples, mantoux test, x ray chest. 4. Consult chest physician with report for advice and treatment.
