If I take a booster dose of hepatitis b vaccine then my already high anti hbs level (98.6mlu/ml) would become even greater. Will I still get infected if try to have a normal sexual life with my wife who is hepatitis b positive. Please answer. Thanks.

1. Hepatitis b vaccine normally gives protection for 20 year 2. Anti hbs level should ideally be more than 100 mlu/ml. 3. Even people having anti hbs level more than 10miu/ml are also considered safe and have very low chance of getting infection. 4. Your anti hbs level is good and you are safe. However you can take further advice from hepatologist/gastroenterologist 5. You don't need a booster dose 6. Start anti viral drugs for your wife if required after consulting hepatologist.
