I am 47 years old taking medicine gluconate 1gm 1 -1 & Ziten only in morning. Now my sugar observed 89 fasting & 121 PP should I reduce medicine. What is new dose.

Mr. Lybrate-user, your blood sugar readings are really good. But by one single reading it is difficult to advise any dosage change. If consistently you get the similar readings then dose reduction can be looked at. What is hba1c%, that will give an idea of long term control. Another important aspect is you have grade 1 obesity with a bmi of 30.3 kg/m2, your ideal body weight should be 68 kgs, there is 25 kg extra weight. Reducing it will contribute a great deal in sugar control.
