I?m in the age of 22 years and all my tooth get damaged. Can I do capping on them and if yes then tell me the life time of cap as well as can I do capping again and again if first cap get broken or damaged. And how much it?s cost.

Hello lybrate-user. Its definitely a matter of concern if you have got all your teeth damaged at such an age. Yes capping is one of the solutions, but without evaluation it will not be easy to say that you actually need them. As far as cap is concerned they have a very good life infact most of the time caps are functionally good for the time till your inner tooth structure is sound enough. I advice you to take an orthopantamogram and verify the condition of the teeth.. then in case of capping, teeth prepathas to be done.. the teeth preparation is done in root canal treated teeth.. so first you can do root canal procedures and followed by teeth preparation and capping.. the cap can be used for many years depending on the maintenance by the patient.. root canal, it costs about 2k and capping 2k each for single teeth respectively... consult me for further details.. thank you..
