I have been prescribed folic acid, multivitamin, aspirin estrogen (primibet 2 mg twice a day) from day 2 of cycle till day 14. After stopping estrogen from day 15 I started spotting on day 18. I had little little spotting but not period like flow. Doctor suggested to take either norstra cr tab or primolut n tab fir 5 days. Should these tablet be taken. Why this spotting started mid cycle. Is there any chance big pregnancy. Should I wait for period to come. Or pregnancy test should b done. Or any other medicine to b taken.

The estrogen has been probably prescribed to check for ovulation or increase endometrial thickness. But it will inhibit ovulation and decrease chance of pregnancy in the present cycle. After this cycle is over, consult your doctor regarding taking ovulation induction.
