My daughter is 6 years old and gone low platelet count third times. Her platelet count becomes <10000 (ten thousands) suddenly having symptoms rashes, bruises, red pin-pointed dots on body. 1st & 2nd time, she got recovered from prednisone (20 mg), but this time, even after giving 8*20 mg prednisone in 3 days, her platelet count decreased from 4000 to 3000. What to do, is it itp or ttp? No family history, no other underlying infection sir.
