I am 52 my query is I hv cough from last 6 months went to ent who gave me montek ab predmet 4 mg for 10 days my cough had gone but comes after 15 days I started taking predmet &montek ab myself & the trend come& go continued for 3 to 4 months that is my fault I started panicking after 4 months than went to Dr. and told the whole story he again told against self medication he than gave me the nebulizer .5 mg budesal 2 times a day my cough recovered remarkably I took 15 days twice than 15 days only once in a day than I stopped as advised but the cough came no I hv taken regularly for 20 days .5 mg budesal & than alternate days 48 hrs from 1 week there is no sign of cough even after 48 hrs in the mean time I met with no of pulmologists some said asthma is developing some said it's not ruled out I am panicked some said continue with budesal & increase no of days in gap means like now it's 48 hrs than 72 & so on than slowly withdrawn they did my pft it's not done hesitation is there but over all normal pls suggest me the best thanx.
