I am 38 years old I met an accident in 2010 my brachile pluex injury and done 3 surgery in applo and josh hospital in pune now problem is my hand and wrist getting very seviour pain like burning, and my wrist is lock with plate I think this burning pain is because of fixing with plate so now i want to remove plate please tell me the suggestion?

You had a brachial plexus injury and subsequently you have also undergone 3 different surgeries for it. Since brachial plexus injury actually needs a detailed evaluation of what muscles are working in upper limb and what sensations are present or absent, it is extremely difficult to give any opinion on this platform without clinically examining you in detail. The burning pain is normally paraesthesias due to nerves, and should not be because of fixation with plate or any other implant. Also removal of plate or any other implant depends upon whether underlying healing of bone has take place or not for which plate was applied in the initial place.
