For prevent cavities one needs to maintain a good oral hygiene. Brush twice a day with a fluoridated toothpaste and use an alcohol free mouthwash, avoid sugary food, rinse after every meal, get oral prophylaxis done every 6 months to remove any plaque build up. Show a dentist regularly.
If you alreadyhave cavities than get fillings done and you should have lot of healthy food to prevent decay and brush at night too.
