My brother used to brush every day but he had cavity. How to protect my teeth from cavity.

Brush twice daily especially at night
Lybrate-user, only brushing does not help. Rinsing your mouth thoroughly after meal is a must. Daily flossing is also needed. By yearly follow up with your dentist.

For prevent cavities one needs to maintain a good oral hygiene. Brush twice a day with a fluoridated toothpaste and use an alcohol free mouthwash, avoid sugary food, rinse after every meal, get oral prophylaxis done every 6 months to remove any plaque build up. Show a dentist regularly.
