I have food impact under my metal crowned teeth, as there's a gap opening. It's creating pain sometimes (sometimes very intense when the food gets stuck in larger quantities) and bad breathe constantly. I can't clean the area, as the food impact is getting accumulated under the crown. Do I need to replace the crown? Or should I remove the crown and clean the area and refit the same crown with dental cement thus closing the gaps? The present crown is in perfect shape and fixture except the gap which developed lately.

For temporary solution floss all your teeth inter dentally with inter dental brushes. For permanent relief go in for a new crown.

Better change the cap with no gaps. It is good for your teeth and gums.
