One of my friends is having "chalazion" in her eyes. Initially last year around september she did two surgeries, then again last february she had some injection therapy and it got subdued for sometime. But it has relapsed again this last month and the doctor is saying to come over and have the injection. Wanted to know if it has any permanent solution, or this process has to be repeated in durations. If you could have any idea? Thank you.

I am sorry to hear about your concern but will be happy to assist you. Chalazions typically aren't painful and often go away on their own within two to eight weeks. But if you've had one for several months or it's starting to interfere with your vision, your healthcare provider may recommend surgical removal. Let's connect over a call so that we can discuss your concern in details and make a suitable treatment plan for you.
