I had my period five days after taking the plan b pill. At first I thought it was spotting but it was too heavy and it lasted for 4 days and this is the second time in april that I had my period. This month which is may I haven't seen my period yet and the month is about to end. I took a home pregnancy test since I had not seen my period and it came out negative. I took another test two weeks later and it was still negative I decided to go to the hospital and take a professional test and it came out negative. My period was meant to be on the 10th or 20th of this month and I still haven't seen it but I keep getting pre menstrual cramps even when i've taken three pregnancy tests and their all negative. Please someone should advice me could it be a delay or something worse.

Hello judy after so many negative tests it is highly unlikely that you are pregnant. It is just a delayed cycle, since you have taken plan b pill in last month, you might be experiencing a delayed cycle because of hormonal imbalance. This is quiet common and nothing to worry about. Have a cup of ginger tea morning and evening, also a cup of ripe papaya every day. You should get your periods in a period of one week if you do the above. If you don't get your period with the above method then you can go for medical management which includes progesterone withdrawal.
