Hello I am 26 year old my dentist has put permanent retainer on my upper case but I got it removed but still some glue is left on one of central incisor and it is constantly getting collided with my lower tooth. Will it get set up automatically over a period of of time? As I don't want to get it removed. As every time I go to a dentist my tooth hurts a lot.

Hello, it's better if you get it removed. Removing it will not harm your teeth. Just by polishing it will get removed. If you leave it, it will constantly hit your lower teeth, and the pressure will harm your teeth. Better get it removed.
