In your daily diet, Methi (fwnugreek)seeds, sweet potatoes, turmeric and cinnamon have specific anti diabetes properties. Amla and cocum have indirect benefits. Have them part of your daily diet. But four items are specifically antidiabetic. 1. Rice. 2. Potatoes 3. Fried food in oil and ghee 4. Sweet. Avoid them forever. But having any one of the items once in a while is not harmful. Small amount of desi ghee with roti is good. But don't overdo anything. Eat 200 g of fruity and 100 g of leafy vegetables everyday. Find a good doctor and follow his/her advise always.
