I experienced penis discharge and started taking some antibiotics but this was after like a month of ignored symptoms thinking its normal. After taking antibiotics (azithromycin, ciprofloxacin and clarithromycin) orally the discharge is still seen after squeezing and also sometimes experience itchiness in the urethra when I want to urinate, kindly advise because I am worried about it. Some of the reasons I suspect I have a problem is due to the following 1. It must have been due to unprotected sex with my ex partner I suspect I got it from 2. Took sometime to notice the discharge, must have been like a month after that?s when I paid attention to the discharge 3. I used to experience frequent urination last 2 weeks ago but not anymore 4. I do experience pain sometimes and then other times I do not experience it during urination.

Hello- if it is likely that penile discharge is due to an std, then it is important to seek treatment. Most stds are highly treatable, and treatment prevents severe complications. Male discharge that has a non-std cause may be a variation of normal discharge, or it could be a sign of an infection that requires treatment.
