Is influenza vaccine mandatory for an infant? He is 7 months old and already got the first dose in the 6th month. Now my doc. Is saying to give him the 2nd dose in the 7th month. I am just worried that it should not be an extra vaccine which is just good to have.

Children below 2 years need 2 doses 1 month apart of flu vaccine when taking it for the first time, subsequently he will need 1 dose yearly.
