After 6 weeks of caesarian section I noticed that whenever I got to urine there is a clot of blood on toilet. Am now 10 weeks post cs and there is now clotting n bleeding that does not make a pad full. My doctor recommended sylate 500 mg for 3 days. I have started it and done with my first day of using it but I have noticed more bleeding than usual and pain from uterus. Is it normal? Should I continue taking sylate?

Is there pain or fever? Watch for another 3 days and then approach a doctor. Sylate will not increase the bleeding but it is possible that it may not work. An ultrasonography of uterus could be done.

While lactating, irregularities of menstruation occur. This is not very abnormal. Let us wait for 2 more weeks and can act after that.
