I had my acl revision reconstruction surgery (patellar tendon) with partial lateral menisectomy on last thursday. I'm on my 6th day post surgery. I can feel the hotness on the operated knee and swelling still there. Is this normal? What precautions should I take? When can I get back to sports?

It is normal to feel like that. However you can give mild hot water fermentation in and around the operated knee. Do not pour water into the operated site. You need to do knee rehabilitation for next 6 -8 weeks for you to get back to normalcy. Until then you cannot get back to sports.
