My wife is a chronic osteo arthritis patient. She is aged 54 and post menopause state. An orthopaedic surgeon prescribed SWD for 10 days. But, a physiotherapist suggests IFT would be advisable. Which would be better?

Hi Ayyaswamy your wife has osteoarthritis. The diagnosis needs to confirmed. If in fact she has osteoarthritis then she needs to be assessed for comorbidities and needs to be put on an intensive exercise program with control of pain using safe pain modfiying medications instead of pain killers.
