Good evening. Do not apply fourderm. It will only worsen a ringworm infection. Extensive ringworm infection requires use of oral antifungal medications along with topical antifungals. Treatment duration can extend to 2- 3 months in resistant cases. While on treatment, make sure those living with you do not have it as well, as that can be a reason for reinfection. Follow general measures like not wearing wet clothes, not sharing laundry loads and wearing loose cotton clothing to minimize sweating which can aggravate ringworm infections.

Dear Lybrate reader I find your attitude amusing -you are using medication as if you know better than the doctor. Such problems cannot be cured by free advice. Already you are in trouble. Consult one doctor and follow his advice and it needs follow up at least for 4 to 6 weeks. It will end up as a recalcitrant dermatosis if you don't follow my advice.
