Hi, 35 days back, my sister is blessed with a baby girl (born 1 month earlier than the supposed date) she undergone tubectomy, since then, experiencing severe vaginal bleeding, severe fatigue, heart palpitations, sleeplessness. 3 years before she had subclinical hypothyroidism, she neglected taking levothyroxine & stopped using it long ago. Now, according to lab reports, my sister is having total t3 is below 25 ng/dl. But tsh and total t4 are normal (tsh is 1.8 & total t4 is 9). What might be the problem, is her thyroid function ok? Should she use t3 tablets?

Hello lybrate-user since she is having severe vaginal bleeding post caeserian section, she should go to hospital immediately and consult a gynaec. All the other symptoms of fatigue, palpitations may be because of blood loss. So consult a gynaec doctor immediately.
