I have lichen simplex or can be said as scrotal dermatitis. The skin is hard and rough both on scrotum and penis and peeling after 2-3 days. There is redness and burning sensation on upper region of scrotum as well as penis however no itch is present. I am also experiencing burning sensation at tip of penis while urinating. It started a week ago. I am taking erythromycin 500 bd and betnesol bd. I am applying candid total plus cream as well as candid dusting powder. I am cleaning the area 2-3 times a day with diluted savlon. Please let me know the time it will take to resolve this issue and is it the right treatment strategy or should I change.
