Hey, I recently had an ultrasound and found a stone in my gall bladder. Report is like: gb is contracted. Dense acoustic shadow seen coming from the gb fossa due to multiple calculi, largest measuring 20. 5 mm. Gb wall is thickened 3.5 mm. Cbd measure normal. Suggestive opinion: cholelithiasis with chronic cholecystitis. Please suggest if it can be cured without operation or I need to get operated.

Yes. U need to get operated. There is no way to expel gall bladder stones (unlike case of kidney stones). So gall stones if they r not creating problem, let them be there. But do follow annual checkups. But if they r causing problem, its better to remove them
