Im 16 and had a cleft palate surgery back when I was a child. Since 4 years I have been hearing crackling and popping up sounds in my ears without any pain or decreased hearing so how do I get rid of it and what is it happening? I remember it starts after a severe form of flu infection I had all those years ago.

Eustachian Tube Dysfunction can be caused by large adenoids, allergies, or a cold. This dysfunction can cause crackling or popping noises in our ears. The tube is lined with moist mucosa, and inflamed Eustachian tubes often get sticky, which causes the crackling and popping noises when the tubes are moving around. Let's have a detailed discussion to ensure a proper treatment plan.
