Dear doctor, is there's any risk of breaking a suture after 5 years of c-section surgery? Why doctors prefer another caesarean surgery and don't wanna wait for labour pain after which normal delivery can happen? I want a normal delivery but Dr. don't want to wait for the pain my ga (lmp) is 37w2d. Please help.

Hello lybrate-user. We cannot suggest anything here as we don't know why doctor is suggesting cs. It is not necessary to have cs always if you had first cs. We need to see all the tests done especially the sonography report. Truly speaking except some extra money cs does not have major problems. Even now a days normal delivery has more complications then cs like episiotomy stich break, or infection, long time recovery, difficulty in sex life, etc etc.
