Actually am suffering from cough since 2 months actually it is coming for few days and going n recently am getting cough while going to sleep in day time I don't getting any cough and am doing gargling since 20 days but it is not showing any effect can you suggest any medicine n I used benadryl syrup clavam 625 and livocitrizen but no use. Please suggest allopathy tablet because of the condition outside I can't able to buy ayurvedic or other.

Allergy leading to a post nasal drip is the cause for the cough. Do not take antibiotics if you don't have fever. An antiallergic tablet along with a cough syrup for dry or wet cough as the case maybe should help. Do you smoke? Have you consumed any cold items of late. Gargling will not help. The fact that you have a cough since the past 2 months a complete haemogram along with a chest xray could be done but under the present situation it may not be worth taking a chance Exposing yourself at this point when your immunity is a little down is a bit risky. Take warm water. Avoid cold items.
