If my partner is affected with herpes or any std, when his penis, saliva or semen touches my other parts of the body like neck back ass thighs are also affected or only the genitals and lips are affected? Because if my partner was really infected with herpes, why will I get lesions only on genitals? I should get lesions on other part of the body also right where ever his penis, saliva, semen touched me (neck, back, thighs) right? Means if I have got some bumps on genitals only and not other parts that was touched it can be razor burn or something right.

Hello lybrate-user, herpes is highly contagious and any part of the body may get affected by it. Yet, it would not be intelligent to think if the lesion has occurred only at one location it may not be herpes as the part most susceptible gets affected first and then the disease may spread further. I would suggest that you consult a nearby physician at the earliest and get diagnosed. Practising safe sex and using condoms while getting intimate is greatly helpful in avoiding to get infected.
