Hi, My father-in-law has undergone a ct - abdomen and pelvis (plain) scan. The impressive results are the following: 1.fatty liver 2.tiny right microlith 3.significant fat stranding with thickening is noted in the mesentery - suggestive of mesenteric panniculitis. Is this something to be worried? What does the result say? Can someone please explain about this report? Please let me know if you need any more details.
