On Jan 15th I had met with accident and I lost my upper first two teeth and also from left third one is damaged but its I had root canal
Now my question is
Dental bridge for for teeth is better or implant?
If I go for dental bridge can I bite hard items while eating? Which is the best quality dental bridge for front 4 teeth?
Thanks in advance. :-)
An implant is always better than a bridge. Because it maintains bone levels also. If you are going for a bridge and are concerned about looks then go for all ceramic bridge of material like zirconia. It is expensive but strong as well looks good. There are many types available which your dentist can possibly explain to you.
Of course implants are preferred. They are independent and take a lot of force. Bridge is a second option. The best one is metalfree as aesthetics are much better. Anterior teeth basically serve to guide your jaw during function and of course biting along with aesthetic. Question is about expenses that you alone can decide.
Hello. So sorry about the accident. .Generally you can eat anything with dental bridges as the are made of strong materials. .Nowadays implants are preferred choice as they have much longer life ascompared to bridges n also the adjacent teeth need not be touched or prepared to give support. .Esthetics is also not compromised. .For anterior teeth generally emax crowns or zirconia with emax layering is preferred as it gives best esthetics.
See since you have got the root canal in the third tooth, you require a cap on that tooth. So you can opt for both bridge as well as implant or you can also go in for an implant supported bridge.
The implant is a bit costlier than the bridge. And yes you will be able to bite with the bridge as well.
The best quality bridge is metal free bridge, they have great esthetic value as they do not contain meta in it.
Weather u can do implants or bridges can be determined dep on ur age, bone density n various other factors. Consult your dentist for evaluation of the same. And coming to biting hard food, its not advisable be it metal ceramic or full ceramic bridge or implants. Long term biting with dental bridge or implant may cause cracks ,ultimately leading to breakages. Food cut into pieces n eating s advisable. Full ceramic bridges are recommended as far as aesthetics is prime concern.
Yes you can go for dental bridge all ceramic for aesthetic.
