I am 39 years male and I am suffering from chronic urticaria for more than a year. I have taken many medicines like anti histamine, montelukast, ranitidine, but I cannot get the better result. When I take steroids prednisolone 10 mg I feel better but it is used for short term only. So I would like to know weather there is any option. Thank you.

You can try to find the cause of the urticaria by skin patch tests by dermatologist. If nothing works chronic low dose, e. G. 5 mg prednisolone daily under supervision of allergy specialist may be an option.
