My mother 65 years of age is suffering from ild (idiopathic pulmonary fibroses) from last 4 years. She has been taking allopathic medication from last 4 years for this issue. Her breathing issue is increasing day by day. Now she is using oxygen concentrator for about 20 hours a day. Latest test reports shows her lungs are now on 20-25% working condition. She got shortness of breath even if she walk for 10 to 15 steps only. She can't do any physical activity due to this breathing issue. Kindly do let me know if this issue can be treated and her health can be improved as everyone says that it can't be cured or reversed. They said the damage of lungs can only be slow down and they can improve quality of life till end state.
