I am facing gap in menses period about 2 months. My physician is saying it is due to my weight gain, and now after ultra sound it came to know that eggs are becoming short in my both ovary in the first stage, i'm 18 years unmarried.

Hi Lybrate-User, From what you have mentioned here it seems your doctor is trying to convey that you have polycystic ovarian disease (pcod) and that's the cause of your menses (periods) getting delayed. To manage pcod you have to focus on fat loss and lifestyle modification. Once your weight comes within normal bmi range your periods might start coming on time.
