Hii I am a 20 yrs. Old girl. Day before yesterday I was having a pimple on my forehead and so I applied himalaya neem facewash in night and left it for whole night. When I woke up yesterday morning I found that the part around the pimple got red and it was burning from inside. Then I consulted to a doctor on doc prime. She prescribed me silver nitrate gel 0.2% w/w (silverex) and allegra tablet. I applied it yesterday twice on the affected area. Then the affected area got darker in colour but the burning from inside is less. So what should I do? Should I apply it or change it?

Darkening of the spot could be due to post inflammatory hyperpigmentation and may decrease over time but there are some precautions you should take and other topical creams can help to lighten the darkened area. Moreover you may benefit from antiacne treatment depending upon how many pimples and how frequently you are having these.
