You must not run away from this problem, nor from your parents, if it can be helped. The medication you are taking will do nothing to relieve this situation and you are merely pumping yourself with chemicals. Now I understand the plight you are in and it might be advisable for you to take them to a counselor, and explain in front of the counselor what you are going through. Perhaps this is a great challenge for you that I believe you can win. You must learn coping mechanisms from a counselor for yourself. If you have grown up beyond your teens, then you could start confronting them, rather firmly too. You could also bring in your friends home, their presence may help to curb one or both of them. You could also talk to the parent you feel somewhat close to and explain your plight. That parent may put in some effort to not reciprocate to the other and this will ease the situation somewhat. Suicide is not an option at all. Your life is too precious to throw it away because of these foolish parents. You take charge of your life and do something about your parents? problem. You may also consider calling some important and respected uncle or aunt to describe the situation and invite them to talk some sense into your folks. They are a bad example and so you will feel like you can?t handle relationships, friendship, love, studies etc. But we can learn any time in our lives to develop these skills under conducive circumstances. Escaping from situations are not the solutions to problems although it may give you some temporary relief. You seem to allowed the problem among your parents to affect your life beyond the limit. You should understand that your loneliness is because you have not taken initiative to develop friendship and your academic performance has deteriorated because you have lost your focus on your goal. Stop getting preoccupied with what happens in your home. There is a big world outside you with ample people and opportunities. Don't take in the sense of leaving your home but living a life without allowing the happening at home from stopping you from pursuing what you want.If you really feel helpless or depressed meet a professionally trained psychologist at the earliest.

Seeing your parents fighting would have left you insecure and fearful. Your trust in people and relationships has not developed because you haven't seen your parents modelling it for you. Yet it's not the end of the world. You can stay in your city and still work towards building your life and relationships. Try to remember those times when you did have a friend or cared for someone even briefly. Even if there were very few people who you cared for but still you did it. Inside the lonely person there is a gentle and beautiful person who wants to love and be loved. Nurture that part of you and let it grow. You will start living your life again. Change your counsellor if the other one didn't help you.
