Hi sir, my father 58 yrs old. He is suffering with cough regular fever and lymphnode and breathing problem since two months. We have taken soo many medications with lot of tests. Finally they mada IGE test and IGE levels are greater than 5000. How many days will take to reduce it ?

Please go for Absolute eosinophil count and aspergillus specific IgE and IgG levels. Findings are suggestive of ASAP . IF it is then he will need steroid for longer period.

Total IGE is very high. Rule out allergic bronchopulmonay aspergilosis infection.Treatment planning only after proper cause. If ABPA confirmed,then will need long treatment.
